Pamela Springer, a licensed aesthetician and aethetics instructor, is the founder of The Skin and Makeup Institute of Arizona and the Academy of Advanced Aesthetics and Permanent Cosmetics (AAAPC) a continuing education facility licensed by the Postsecondary Board of Education.

Ms. Springer trains graduates in clinical treatments for pigmentation anomalies, acne, and aging.  Her previous position as an educator for major professional skin care line opened the door to her much sought after class on ethnic skins.

Ms. Springer’s executive education experience encompasses positions such as:

  • National Training Director for an ethnic skin care line
  • National Educator for a pharmaceutical grade skin care manufacturer.
  • Consultant for physicians and their medical suppost staff on effective treatments for ethnic skins.
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in test developments National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology, Inc (NIC) Aesthetics division.
  • College level instructor of a fashion and image-consulting course.

Ms. Springer is a highly requested speaker for corporations and women’s organizations regarding skincare and cosmetic topics.  Her design experience includes fashiom show and specialo event production for national retail stores and major shopping centers and makeup designers for several cosmetic companies.  Ms. Springer’s extensive media experience encompasses:

  • Writing beauty advice for national women’s publications
  • Serving as a fashion spokesperson for plus sizes on local and national television and radio mediums.
  • Co-hosting a national program for the Shopping Channel Network (QVC)
  • Appearing on Oprah and local stations, such as Channel 3, Fox 10, NBC’s Channel 12, and ABC’s Channel 15, as a skin care and makeup expert.

Serving on community and industry related boards are important to Ms. Springer.  Presently, she serves on the board of;

  • The American Heart Association
  • The Arizona Theatre Company
  • President of Greenway Medical & Professional Association
  • Past member of the Arizona Board of Cosmetology.  The Arizona Board of cosmetology appointed by the Govenor Janet Napolitano was the first time an aesthetician was bestowed this honor.

Ms. Springer is currently writing a book on ethnic skins.
